Do Druids Dance At Midnight?
A Hypnotic Adventure Session Log
Chapter 1
TG Fiction hypnosis log: A Saxon merchant runs into sex changing Druid magic, some time after the Roman conquest of Britain.
These chat logs are edited for typos (though not capitalization, that would take forever), continuity, and some of the chatter and personal info is deleted. Otherwise, this is the entire transcript of the online hypnosis session.
This first session log is Colleen’s 17th session with me, happening weekly and starting January 22, 2008. Each trance session lasts about an hour, pre-chat and post-chat not included, and the trance induction about 7 to 10 minutes. The first trance induction took about 40 minutes, and was used to set a trance trigger word to make returning to trance faster and easier. I replace that word with *Trance Trigger* in these posted logs. Enjoy!

mind_mistress: The soldier in front of you says: “All right, you can go on to Londinium
colleen: thank you
mind_mistress: “and selll your wares”
colleen: perhaps you would be interested in some fine rare spices
mind_mistress: “Your shipment will be in building IV”
colleen: no probobly not
colleen: thank you
mind_mistress: “Listen sir… I’m on duty right now…”
mind_mistress: “And I see more spices in a day than I know what to do with… try that with the inlanders”
colleen: that I will
mind_mistress: Beyond the pier, there are log warehouses…
colleen: buillding IV
mind_mistress: He hands you a receipt for IV
mind_mistress: yes
mind_mistress: Time to make money!
colleen: Boy! Get the wagon!
colleen: we’re off to Londonium
mind_mistress: You see a young celt come… in plaid britches and tunic
mind_mistress: is just beyond the pier…
colleen: Good day young sir
colleen: Time to go to work
mind_mistress: the boy says: “Do you want to bring all your things with you?”
mind_mistress: “Or just a cart to travel yourself ?”
mind_mistress: (it depends on whether you sell wholesale or sell on your own)
colleen: NO, I thought I’d leave half of it behind. Of course I want all my things!
colleen: We have business to attend to
mind_mistress: Are you going to sell to a local trader, or to the locals?
colleen: to a local trader in Londonium, But I need to get my goods there first
mind_mistress: “Yes sir… how many carts do you need?”
mind_mistress: you know your goods are safer in storage here…
colleen: at least 8
mind_mistress: until you’ve met the trader who’ll buy them
mind_mistress: Wandering with a caravan when you don’t know who’s buying is tedious
mind_mistress: You want to bring it all?
colleen: I’m meeting the merchant in Londonium, its our usual arrangement
mind_mistress: Okay…
colleen: we will be taking guards
mind_mistress: the boy goes to arrange for the carts and loading….
mind_mistress: You’d better send a messenger to say you’ve arrived too
colleen: I go to find the captain of the guards
mind_mistress: “Yes?”
colleen: yes, send the messenger
colleen: I’ll need 10 guards for my trip inland
mind_mistress: “What do I look like, an errand boy?? Go to building XI for that!”
mind_mistress: “It’s that way”
colleen: fine thank-you for all of your help. May I ask where building X! is
mind_mistress: “That way”
colleen: bye
mind_mistress: You walk along buildings….
colleen: I walk to building XI
mind_mistress: VI
mind_mistress: VII
mind_mistress: VIII
mind_mistress: IX
mind_mistress: X
mind_mistress: XI has a Crow crest on it…
mind_mistress: You go in,…
mind_mistress: An older man approaches you, well dressed…
colleen: good day sir
mind_mistress: “Ah, welcome to the Crow’s Guard and Messengers”
mind_mistress: “What can I do for you?”
colleen: I need 10 guards for my caravan to Londinium and a messenger boy to send word of my arrival
mind_mistress: “Very well. And you’ll be paying with… ?”
colleen: gold. Roman gold
mind_mistress: He tells you the price…
mind_mistress: It’s more than you expected… he may be trying to gouge you
colleen: I just need to rent the guards, not buy them
mind_mistress: “These ARE very fine guards…”
colleen: I’m sure they are. However, average guards will do
mind_mistress: “But for you… I will make a good price…”
colleen: I’ll pay you half
mind_mistress: He tells you a more reasonable price…
colleen: when can they be ready?
mind_mistress: “Right now. Brutus, attend to the gentleman!”
mind_mistress: A guy in repaired Roman armor steps up
mind_mistress: “Yes boss…”
colleen: I’ll pay half now and the balance when we reach Londinium
mind_mistress: You’re at the Londinium piers… the city is just beyond…
mind_mistress: You just need to get to the trader
colleen: I see I thought I was on the coast
mind_mistress: I thought there was a river to Londinium…
colleen: there is
colleen: Thames
mind_mistress: that’s where you’ve arrived then…
colleen: oops
mind_mistress: 🙂
mind_mistress: Major cities are pretty much always ports…
mind_mistress: Brutus gets his men…
mind_mistress: and follows you to the Building with your things
colleen: leave it all here in the warehouse
colleen: I’ll go find the trader myself
colleen: I don’t need the guards afterall
mind_mistress: Brutus: “Okay… but there will be a cancellation fee…
mind_mistress: “Boss will tell you later…”
colleen: just post 2 at the warehouse
mind_mistress: “Ah, okay… you two, guard this stuff.”
mind_mistress: “Anything else?
colleen: just don’t fall asleep
mind_mistress: “We never sleep!”
mind_mistress: You need the market area…
mind_mistress: to find your trader
colleen: yes cental Londinium I think
mind_mistress: You go?
colleen: yes
mind_mistress: You leave…
mind_mistress: down the main road…
colleen: I head off to the center of town
mind_mistress: seeing soldiers and celts…
mind_mistress: past the pallisade…
mind_mistress: into town…
mind_mistress: boy does it stink…
mind_mistress: they havn’t made proper aqueducts yet here…
colleen: terribly. That’s why I like the country
mind_mistress: Some wood and some newer stone buildings…
colleen: what a pit
mind_mistress: down to the main market…
mind_mistress: LOUD… as usual…
colleen: but it’s growing a new market
mind_mistress: a Briton comes to you “A fine horse sir??”
colleen: I look around
mind_mistress: There are vegetable stands and various pots being sold here
colleen: why do I need a horse?
mind_mistress: “A fine sir needs a horse to travel!”
mind_mistress: “I have fine horses over there!”
colleen: If I need one I’ll let you know. But I’m not leaving Londinium for a few days
mind_mistress: “All right, good day sir! Look for Honest Henry’s Horses!”
mind_mistress: you walk on…
colleen: just tell me where the spice merchant is?
mind_mistress: “That way…” he points
colleen: thank you
colleen: I walk in
mind_mistress: he goes back to his stables…
colleen: on
mind_mistress: You can tell by the smell…
mind_mistress: you’re getting closer…
mind_mistress: and then you see tables of spices in little bags and larger bags…
colleen: peppers and sage
mind_mistress: have you met your trader before?
colleen: no. Just correspondance
colleen: His name is Titus
mind_mistress: Better ask one of the spice merchants then
colleen: Where can I find Titus
mind_mistress: “Ah yes… Titus… his prices are overinflated, and his spices old… you’ll find much fresher wares here!”
colleen: His will be the freshest before the day is done. And the best spices command the best price
mind_mistress: he blinks, points “The one with the crow on his crest” and then ignores you.
colleen: good day
colleen: Titus?
mind_mistress: You see him over there… Well,… he looks a bit young
mind_mistress: “Ah… no… Titus junior…”
colleen: Where is Titus, Senior?
mind_mistress: “My father passed on… and I’m in charge now”
colleen: oh?
mind_mistress: You see a matronly woman come out…
colleen: Madam
mind_mistress: “That no good husband is dead drunk and we take care of things now”
mind_mistress: “Deal with my son. And me”
colleen: I see. I came from the continent with spices that your husband asked for
mind_mistress: the son blushes… “Ever since his favorite mare died… father has not been himself…”
colleen: why is that?
mind_mistress: “he loved that horse… ”
mind_mistress: Matron: “He cared more about that horse than about me. but enough of the gossip. Who are you?”
colleen: I am Wode the Trader
mind_mistress: “Ah yes… I remember” she says
mind_mistress: “Payment in gold?”
colleen: yes
colleen: as always, Roman Gold
mind_mistress: “Gold is a matron’s best friend” she smirks
colleen: And a trader’s
mind_mistress: “Well, let’s inspect the merchandise tonight when market is done, and then we can arrange for payment”
colleen: That is fine.
mind_mistress: “Where is the merchandise?”
colleen: Building IV at the pier. Where can I rest for awhile?
mind_mistress: “Good, we’ll meet there. Down that street is Crow’s Rest Inn… you can get a bed for a few silvers”
mind_mistress: “We’ll meet after sunset”
colleen: till then
mind_mistress: “Good day”
colleen: I walk on to the Inn
mind_mistress: You walk down…
mind_mistress: and soon get to the inn…
mind_mistress: It’s a stone one, two stories…
mind_mistress: As you step in,.. tavern on the lower floor…
mind_mistress: people drinking and eating….
mind_mistress: Serving wenches going about…
colleen: I need food and lodging for the evening

mind_mistress: A red headed lass greets you…
colleen: how are you my dear
mind_mistress: “Good…What can I get you?”

mind_mistress: Her eyes flash a bit… temper!
colleen: indeed?!
mind_mistress: “Indeed”
colleen: and a lovely proprietor you are
mind_mistress: “Thank you.” she mollifies
mind_mistress: “Room is 2 silver a night.”
mind_mistress: “Food depends on what you want”
mind_mistress: “Today’s mutton is one silver, with ale”
colleen: and how did ones as young and pretty as yourself come to own this fine establishment?
mind_mistress: she sighs…
mind_mistress: Leans in closer…
mind_mistress: smiles…
mind_mistress: bats her eyelids…
mind_mistress: “I killed the previous owner. Any other questions?”
colleen: I’ll take the room.
colleen: do you have any beef?
mind_mistress: “Not today”
colleen: the mutton will do.
mind_mistress: “She turns and yells in gaelic”
mind_mistress: “We’ll bring it to you. Go. Sit. ”
colleen: from the north are you?
mind_mistress: “Yes I am.”
colleen: will you join me for a drink?
mind_mistress: “I am running a business here, SIR, and there are people waiting for me…”
mind_mistress: “SIT”
colleen: but perhaps there is business that could be benificial to us both?
mind_mistress: “We can talk later”
colleen: I sit
mind_mistress: And while you sit at the table…
colleen: I would like that

mind_mistress: Looked up this map to get an idea…
